My name is Christopher Rodney Logan but everyone knows me as Rodney. I was raised in Ballymena, Northern Ireland during the Troubles.
I left Ireland in the 80s for teacher practice in the heart of Rioja production and then moved to live in France.
I am fluent in French, English and can get by in Spanish and German.
I am gay and in 2015 was fortunate enough to meet my partner Chris who lives in Brittany and he works for an International Aid Charity. He does't speak much French, though he gets by with what he knows. I worry about where he goes and what he does. He has had a gun to his head and a knife to his skin but somehow has survived.
